Inauguration Week
Hello to our few, faithful readers. It has been another wild week in the Eves household, a week filled with inauguration activities, visits from the architects on the new Science addition, and the usual extra curricular activities. The photo was taken by Uncle Roland during a short visit to Newcastle Reservoir on Wednesday night. We were supposed to hit Sand Hollow, but it was windy (25 mph) and we decided this would be a better choice. I was delayed in order to meet with the architects, so we only fished together for about 1 1/2 hours. The big ones never showed up, but we had lots of laughs and caught lots of sunfish (eat your heart out, Jake!).
I haven't been too directly involved in the Presidential inauguration, however, I played in the golf tourney yesterday (don't ask), and Bubby and I went to the inaugural convocation in which Vai Sekahema, Miss Utah, and Hyrum Smith spoke. I am going to put on the "robes of the false priesthood" today and join in the processional to the actually coronation. The school is dropping about $150 K, that they will admit to, for this event, but it takes money to make money, so there you are.
Daniel, Rosalyn, and "the boy" are headed this way this evening, and Sarah and family are also coming. Should be a blast, but we are supposed to have rainy weather tomorrow, so it might get interesting being cooped up inside. I hope we can at least get out before it starts in the morning.
More later this weekend, I am sure.
Buboppy
