He whom Bubby is holding is Master Vince Anthony Eves! He arrived last Tuesday, and weighed in at over nine pounds! He caused his mother many hours of intense labor, then they ended up taking him by C-section because he was just too big! He is fully functional, has detached ear lobes and very big hands. Bubby says he is not scrawny, and a very nice armful to hold. I can already tell he is a strong guy, and the possessor of two marvelous chins.
While we were there, Jaye's mom and dad were there along with Jaye's sister and family. Vince has a girl cousin, Josie, who was born just two weeks previously. We got to see them together, and it was really fun.
As you can see, Tony is fine, and very proud of his new playmate. Jaye is doing very well too, and discovering the downside of C-section due to the expected post operation discomfort. Anyway, they are missing sleep, but loving life. What a great addition to their family. We are guessing that Aunt Karen wishes she could be in two places at once (they are in Japan at the moment, visiting Jim, Kim, and the grandsans).
