The Holidays Begin

Well, the gang's all here! Jakey wanted to be the first of the cousins to hold Leo, and so he ran into the house, washed his hands (he is very well trained), and sat for 20 minutes with a smile on his face. Leo seemed perfectly happy to be held. I think he is going to like his cousin Jake.

Of course Babsy has been dying to get her hands on this baby, and she was also very happy to have her first opportunity. He is a very happy and calm little man. Keep his belly full and he is pretty easy going. I imagine he will be ready to move when the time comes. We are all enjoying hanging out with him on his first visit to the Bubb's.

Evelyn is verging on lumpy, the ultimate stage of babyhood. She tips a little but is starting to play very nicely on her own and is a really sweet little friend. We like her to visit.

Of course we spend a lot of time planning and executing meals. We were preparing a monkey bread for Sunday breakfast and putting a rice salad together for Leo's blessing day in this photo. Everyone gets involved in these activities, as you can see. The holidays are such a fun time for us and we are loving having everyone home.
