Sunday Fun

We tried to entertain the kids in a variety of ways, and we even got this group to sit down and watch Diego (Dora's Cousin) for a brief respite. It didn't last long, but it gave us a little break from the action.

Bubby has been hustling bow-making jobs for Babsy, and she went into production to fill the orders while they are here. She is really pretty accomplished at it, and I think Bubb was able to get her a little pocket change for her creations. There will be a whole raft of random female children running around Cedar City with Babsy-created bows after Christmas.

Bubby introduced Katie to "Old Mae" and it was really fun for her. At one point, the adults were playing cards in the dining room, and Bubb, Katie, and Jake were playing "Mae" in the purple room. Katie let out a laugh of such delight that it made us all stop and inquire what was going on. She had stuck Bubb with the "Mae". Granny and Lumpy would be so pleased to see the game playing legacy continuing to another generation.

Of course, "Mae" is also Jake's favorite game, and he was in the thick of things. His game playing skills are improving all the time. He is getting pretty cagey at Old Mae, and can't wait to give her to his Uncle Booty (He's going to win!).
